The SpiroConnect Mobile App works in conjunction with MedChip Solution’s SpiroConnect PC based spirometer, enabling users to collect spirometry data on an Android tablet or mobile phone, away from the PC and then upload the results to the SpiroConnect Data Manager patient database on the PC. Both baseline and post bronchodilator tests may be performed. The indices displayed are FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC and PEF together with the normal values and test quality information. However, all the spirometric indices are recorded and are uploaded for subsequent review on the PC.Patient details are downloaded from a SpiroConnect Data Manager to the mobile device. Alternatively, patient details may be entered directly on the mobile device if the patient’s details have not been previously recorded on the PC.Forced spirometry, calibration, examination review and patient data entry are all supported.Please ensure that you have SpiroConnect Data Manager V1.08 or later installed in order to utilise upload and download functionality, and that your unit firmware version is 2.52 or later.English, French, Dutch and Polish languages are currently supported.EC Rep address:Advena Ltd.
